Rib Lake Public Library is proud to announce that they will be hosting a Toy Chests of America chest full of games and puzzles. The concept is similar to a Little Free Library, but with games and puzzles instead of books. The Toy Chest will be located inside the library during the winter, and outside during the summer. Rachel Behringer will be at the Rib Lake Library on Saturday, January 22nd at noon to help us with the opening of our Toy Chest of America!
Rachel Behringer was crowned Mrs. Wisconsin American on June 5, 2021, in Wausau, WI with the Mrs. Wisconsin America and Miss for America Strong pageant directed by Natalie Boyd.
Rachel’s passions are her family and playing games and was inspired by her family game playing history to create Toy Chests of America program, where everyone is welcome to “drop a game and take a game”. She has been working on this project to reach new locations in WI to open new Toy Chests so more people can have easy access to games, for anyone to bring their gently used games to share with others and/or take games to play. Rachel does game drive events all year long to help supply newly opened locations to fill their toy chest.
